2. Cookies used by AutoKlar
As of this notice’s latest update, AutoKlar’s website code does not include profiling cookies, advertising cookies or marketing tracking tools.
The website uses technologies to remember preferences requested by the user, as described below. This description of AutoKlar’s code is separate from any technologies used by the hosting infrastructure to deliver and protect the service.
3. Preferences and browser storage
The website remembers interface choices on the device using these values:
- autoklar-theme: light or dark theme, stored in localStorage.
- autoklar-motion-paused: animations enabled or paused, stored in localStorage and, for compatibility, also in sessionStorage.
Values in localStorage have no expiry set by the website and remain until deleted or removed by the browser. sessionStorage is tied to the tab session. Change these preferences using the website controls or delete them in your browser settings.
Preferences do not contain contact enquiry text and are not sent by AutoKlar’s code for statistical or advertising purposes. The form prepares its summary in memory and does not save its fields in this browser storage.
AutoKlar’s code does not include visitor analytics. Images, videos and scripts are served by the website; fonts are those available on the device, without loading external font services.
4. Third-party services
The website may contain ordinary links to external services such as WhatsApp, email or other websites.
A link to an external service does not necessarily cause that service to install cookies while the user browses AutoKlar.
When the user chooses to open a third-party website or service, the provider’s terms, privacy notice and cookie policy apply.
5. Profiling and marketing cookies
As of the latest update, AutoKlar’s code does not include advertising or profiling systems such as:
Meta Pixel;
Google advertising cookies;
remarketing tools;
systems designed to create advertising profiles of users.
If cookies or other tracking tools requiring consent are introduced in future, they will not be used before consent is obtained where required by applicable law.
In that event, the website will provide tools to accept, reject or manage preferences, and this notice will be updated.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
Users can manage or delete cookies through their browser settings.
Disabling technical cookies that a website needs to function may affect some features.
Cookie management options depend on the browser used.
